I offer a limited amount of sliding scale slots. FEES WILL BE DISCUSSED DURING YOUR CONSULTATION.

Why I Don’t Accept Insurance

Your services are not confidential when you use Insurance. Since we will not bill insurance companies for our services, the information about your services remains confidential between us, unless you wish to release your information to someone else

Additionally, we would be required to give you a diagnosis which your insurance company will keep on you permanently. Health insurance companies require us to submit a diagnosis in order to provide services. However, not everyone has a mental illness rather they are struggling with life issues and related stressors.

Insurance companies want LOTS OF INFORMATION ABOUT YOU! We would be required to discuss your private information with a total stranger. That information is then shared to decide if and how much service you need. At Vision of Recovery, you and I make your care decisions.

Cancellation

If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand or you will be responsible for the full cost of the session.
